🏠 1. ✅ Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be a permanent resident of Telangana (typically ≥ 8 years of residency).
  • Family Below Poverty Line (BPL) or annual income typically under ₹2 lakhs .
  • Must not own a permanent house; either landless or land-owning but house-less families are eligible.
  • Priority given to SC/ST/OBC/minority, daily-wage laborers, divyangs, and those without a literate adult male (25+).

2. 📝 Documentation & Application

  • Required documents:
    • Aadhar, ration card, residence and income certificate, caste certificate, land-ownership proof (if any), 2 passport photos, mobile number.
    • For Telangana Freedom Fighters/activists: include FIR, jail records, death certificate (where applicable)Apply via Praja Palana offline/online form through Mee Seva/MRO, selecting the Indiramma Indlu option.

3. 📐 Construction Guidelines

  • House size must be 400–600 sq ft; exceeding 600 sq ft leads to disqualification.

  • Construction must begin within 45 days of sanction..

4. 💰 Financial Assistance Structure

  • Up to ₹5 lakh per beneficiary (plot owner or landless).
  • Disbursed in phased installments:
    1. ₹1 lakh after foundation/basement,
    2. ₹1 lakh when walls are up,
    3. ₹2 lakh after slab completion,
    4. ₹1 lakh on final completion.
  • Government transfers funds directly to beneficiary bank accounts.

  • Landless beneficiaries: allotment of plots, with identical ₹5 lakh construction support.
